Executive Team

Anil Srivastava
CEO
Mr. Srivastava is AcrossWorld Ventures’ co-founder and chief executive officer. He brings over 30 years of global networking and telecommunications leadership experience to AcrossWorld Ventures. Prior to co-founding the company, he was the emerging markets project manager for Apple Computer, managing their billion dollar project in Turkey. While working in India, Mr. Srivastava was Booz-Allen & Hamilton’s senior professional advisor for the information technology and telecommunications practice in the Asia-Pacific region. His work in telecommunications and technology led to his selection as the first Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) of India. For over a decade he was the Director and Head of Knowledge Engineering at the Center for Development of Instructional Technology in India. He also serves as a consultant with The World Bank and the United Nations Development Program on global information infrastructure and use of information and communication technologies for sustainable development. Mr. Srivastava is a graduate of India’s National Defense Academy.

Anat Bernstein-Reich
Co-Founder & Senior VP
As AcrossWorld’s co-founder and senior vice president, Ms. Bernstein-Reich provides strong international credentials in building strategic business and technical partnerships. She currently serves as a consultant to The World Bank and United Nations Development Program on the Internet in Africa. Prior to joining AcrossWorld, she worked for the Israeli technology incubator to promote strategic partnerships between Israeli and U.S. technology companies in the Silicon Valley. Prior to working in high-technology, Ms. Bernstein-Reich was also a civil and corporate lawyer with an Israeli law firm, specializing in investment, technology, commercial contracts, and entrepreneur agreements. She received an LL.B. degree from the Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University and is a member of the Israeli Bar. Ms. Bernstein-Reich also holds an MBA in Finance from the McLaren School of Business at the University of San Francisco.

Gregory Becker
Co-founder

Greg Becker has been active in the areas of online content, electronic commerce, and Internet development in emerging markets since 1993 .

His experience in international content development and delivery is significant. Starting with "Discover India" on Apple's on-line service "e-World", the establishment of the Indonet domain and website as the first resource for information on Internet access and networks in India, and the subsequent development of over thirty commercial and public benefit websites on four continents.

Mr. Becker has worked with the U.S. Department of State's educational and cultural affairs programs on themes ranging from telecommunications, to foreign policy, to economic development.

At the Library of Congress he was a West European Specialist and developed exchange programs between the Library and European libraries and research institutions.

Mr. Becker studied English, American, and German Literature, and Mass Communications, at the University of California at San Diego.

Scott Lawley
VP Technology
Mr. Lawley brings over 12 years of Sr. Management and Technology Consulting experience and expertise to AcrossWorld. He specializes in the planning, design, and implantation of complex business systems. He was a key member at VerticleNet, an ASP-based solution provider. At VerticleNet, Mr. Lawley was a Sr. Management Consultant and Principle Engineer, leading the design and support of all of the company’s network infrastructures.
 

Tony Perera
VP Business Development

Mr. Perera brings over 10 years of financial and investment banking experience to
AcrossWorld. He has special expertise in investment banking, business development,
strategic alliances, and partnerships. He was CEO of Komatix, a leading global healthcare software provider
