ACROSSWORLD TO PRESENT NANOTECHNOLOGY GLOBAL DIALOGUE FOR EMERGING MARKETS
(Santa Clara, CA
– 4 August 2003) – AcrossWorld, the leading
provider of technology solutions and services designed especially for the needs
of emerging markets, will present “Catching the Nanotechnology Wave - The Tiny
Revolution,” a Global Dialog session in conjunction with the World Bank Global
Development Learning Network. The dialogue will take place on August 6, 9-11 AM
EDT, by videoconference from AcrossWorld’s Silicon
Valley offices. Global participants will include delegates in Sri Lanka, Ghana,
Indian and Pakistan, as well as experts from Silicon Valley.
The panel of nanotechnology
experts, moderated by Scott Mize, will lead a dialogue on the field of
nanotechnology, sources of government, private and corporate investment,
emerging regional areas of expertise around the globe and what policy makers
need to know to attract nanotechnology investment to their regions.
